Designing and Evaluating Social Robots for Public Settings

Our project is organising a workshop at IROS2015. The call for papers is now open.

The objective of this full day workshop on 28 September is to bring together a multidisciplinary group of researchers to identify and address key challenges to the future study of social robotics in both lab and field. The workshop will include guest speakers with backgrounds in a range of methodological approaches to HRI. The confirmed keynote speakers are Professor Paul Luff (King’s College London, UK) and Professor Hideaki Kuzuoka (University of Tsukuba, Japan).

The workshop on 28 September will be held during the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) 2015 at the Congress Center Hamburg (CCH), Germany.

Our project team members Chris Bevan, Paul Bremner, Danaë Stanton Fraser and Hatice Gunes are organising the workshop.  For a workshop overview, details of the programme and important deadline dates, please visit our workshop website.
