Being There Lab Day Four

Today was the final day of the lab. The groups continued developing their prototypes and some new ideas were investigated. In the afternoon, we invited Pervasive Media Studio residents to an informal sharing of prototypes and ideas.

Being There Lab Day Three

Today the groups have been exploring and developing their ideas further and rapid prototyping. So far there is; a beetle-like flailing robot, invitations for colour play in public space, a game using indoor localisation technology, and badges displaying pulse. Tomorrow the groups will present their prototypes in an informal sharing in the Pervasive Media Studio.

Today, the participants returned to the brief; to make something in prototype using University of Oxford’s indoor localisation technology or to make something using public space / uncontrolled space. Some people expressed areas of interest and these were used to form working groups.
