Dr. Joss Wright is Research Fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, where his work focuses on internet censorship and privacy-enhancing technologies.
Dr. Wright's research interests involve the design and analysis of technologies, as well as their broader societal implications.
Dr. Wright has featured frequently in the media, including the BBC's Horizon and Panorama programmes, and Channel 4.
He has written for a number of national newspapers, including the Guardian and the Observer, on digital rights and the implications of censorship, and his work has been featured in New Scientist magazine.
He has also advised the UK Parliamentary Science and Technology Committee on the implications of surveillance legislation.
